event photography at st albans museum

Could there be a more perfect job for a documentary event photographer than shooting a lovely new museum opening for two whole days? Capturing all the wonder, the smiles and fun of thousands of visitors ranging from teeny tiny babies to those with *ahem* a little more life experience as they joined in all the exciting newness (and oldness!) at St Alban’s Museum was an absolute joy. The museum is in St Alban’s old Town Hall building and highlights include a court room (perfect for a spot of lunch and a tea), a visit to the real life holding cells and a beautiful ballroom space. Here are some of my favourite shots from the weekend, I hope you enjoy. And if you ever get a chance to visit this incredible space, do go. I promise it won’t disappoint.
